George Jackson Academy transforms the lives of bright NYC middle school boys with its challenging academics and supportive community, launching them toward bright futures. Founded in 2003 and serving 100 boys in grades six through eight, GJA  educates academically talented boys from underserved neighborhoods and counters ongoing forces that too often lead promising young men to disengage from school.
