Tuition and Financial Aid

George Jackson Academy is committed to providing financial aid to students who could not otherwise afford a private school education. For the 2021-2022 academic year, GJA’s tuition is $25,000.  However, GJA students received more than $2,000,000 in financial aid to attend.

George Jackson Academy has a need-blind admission policy, which means a family’s financial status is not considered when deciding admission.  Like most independent schools, George Jackson Academy uses Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS), to develop a recommended family contribution for tuition. TADS provides schools with sound information to help make financial aid awards fairly and equitably.

Each family pays something. Family contribution is based on household income and expenses. Depending on your family’s financial situation, some families pay $40 a month, some $200.  George Jackson Academy is determined to keep tuition affordable for all families.

Do not let finances get in the way of applying. 95% of our students receive financial aid.  Our mission is to serve the brightest students regardless of income.
