Testimonials
GJA gave me a great foundation of self. They gave me tools no matter what room I enter, I can always be authentic. They taught me that I belong no matter what. In a room of 60 people or 600 people, I belong.
George Jackson Academy means a lot to me. GJA is a safe haven. Here you can be yourself without being judged.
GJA is special because we are brothers and look out for each other.
I came here and I felt something magical. In my last school, I was a whole grade level above my class and wasn’t learning anything but when I came to GJA, I was actually challenged.
The amazing teachers here help me enjoy learning. I feel like my classmates really are my brothers and I can strive to be my best self around them.
GJA has opened doors for me to have a chance to get into a great high school.
